摘要
随着时代的变迁,当代粤剧在海外的传播正在发生深刻的变化,呈现出一些新的发展趋势,主要表现在:戏班、演员由职业向业余转变;演出剧目从传统连台大戏向折子戏转变;演员、观众由华工向"香蕉人"、外籍人士转变,寻求跨文化的演出效果;粤剧社团从龟缩在唐人街自娱自乐到登上国际舞台演出;从被主流文化漠视到被政府重视,民间和官方共同传承。粤剧正日益成为一个具有全球影响力的文化品牌。
As the changing of the times, the overseas communication of contemporary Yue Opera is undergoing profound changes, showing some new trends: the troupe and the actor are transformed from the professional to the amateur; the repertoire from traditional whole series to short episodes; actors and audiences from Chinese laborers to overseas born Chinese and some foreigners leading to cross-culture communication in the performances. Now, the troupes from Chinatown perform episodes of Yue Opera on intemational stages, gain the official support from their government and enjoy the success of inheriting Yue Opera by governmental and nongovernmental supports. As a result, Yue Opera has become a globally influential cultural brand.
