This paper briefly expounds the benefits of compensating book with same book for readers and library, analyzes the disadvantages of that the readers buy books for compensation by themselves and the feasibility for the library to set up the additional service item of compensated book＇ s procurement service, and puts forward some countermeasures for implementing the compensated book＇ s procurement service.
