This paper introduced the self-checking function software in three-phase electric energy meter. It is pointed out that the three-phase electric energy meter can accurately record the running events and time, when the power system malfunctions or other abnormal phenomenons occur which affect the correct measurement of three-phase electrical energy meter. It provides the sufficient basis for analysis and problem solving, and timely amends the electric quantity to guarantee the accuracy of electric energy metering.
