高等教育质量文化的反思与超越

Reflection and Transcendence of Higher Education Quality Culture

提高高等教育质量既是一个实践问题,又是一个理论问题。它不仅关涉到高等教育外部因素,而且涉及到高等教育内部因素,更涉及到文化深层次问题。高等教育质量文化研究已经有丰硕的研究成果,但是仍有不少问题值得探究。高等教育质量文化的核心在于价值观:以顾客为主,强调关注过程与结果的并重,注重持续改进的质量,追求卓越的品质。我国高等教育质量文化建设受到发展的阶段性、文化传统的局限性、文明的长期性影响。美国高等教育质量文化较为昌盛的主要原因在于卓越和科学精神的昌盛。中国高等教育质量文化建设急需服务对象、过程与方法、道德、制度、行为、物质的转型与超越。

The improving of the quality of higher education is both a practical problem and a theoretical problem. Not only is it related to the external factors of higher education ,but also concerns internal factors of higher education,even the deep-seated problems of culture. The research on the quality culture of higher education has already been fruitful ,but there are still many problems worth being explored. The core of quality culture of higher education lies in value: customer-oriented ,empha-sizing process and results,focusing on continuous quality improvement,and pursuing excellence in quali-ty. The construction of quality culture in Chinese higher education has been affected by the develop-ment stage,limitations of traditional culture and insistence of civilization. The main reason of the pros-perity of American higher education quality culture lies in the popularity of spirit of excellence and science. We need immediate transformation and transcendence of service objects,process and method, morality,rules,behavior,and substance.
