摘要
英语教学策略是跨英语教学法并包含了教学技巧在内的系统性教学行为。隐喻是普遍存在的基本认知方式,认知隐喻理论应用于大学英语教学形成多模态信息表达的隐喻教学策略,包括听觉隐喻策略、视觉隐喻策略、人体隐喻策略、图像隐喻策略、文化隐喻策略等。隐喻教学策略的运用包括两个方面,一是在教学过程中,通过建立旧知识和新知识两个概念范畴的概念隐喻,用旧知识来帮助理解新知识;二是在课堂教学中,教师运用各种隐喻概念作为辅助教学手段对新知识的解释说明。
English teaching strategy consists of a system of teaching activities and are encoded in various teaching methods .Metaphor is a universal conceptual way ,which can be applied to college English teach‐ing as a part of teaching strategy .Metaphorical teaching strategies are constituted with auditory metaphor strategy ,visual metaphor strategy ,physical metaphor strategy ,image metaphor strategy ,cultural meta‐phor strategy ,etc .The application of metaphorical teaching strategies includes two dimensions :the con‐struction of metaphorical concept for new knowledge acquisition and teachers’ metaphorical teaching activ‐ities .
