The development of information technology and network technology has brought about rapid development and changes in the library industry. It has changed the way that people obtain the resources, the organization resources and the use of resources. This paper discusses the concept, requirement and service of University Library Reader Service in the information age. The paper puts forward that the construction of library collection resources is the basis, technical equipment is the guarantee and the quality of personnel is the premise.
