I.The Crisis in Ukraine Is in Essence a Clash of Values
In the aftermath of WWII, newly emerging national states mushroomed. As a result, the issue of choosing the road of development has become the key one for the developing countries and countries in transition. In essence, the road of development is an orientation of value, which epitomizes the nature and goal of social development of a nation, and profoundly mirrors the dialectical relationship between tradition and modernity, and between democracy and the actual situation of a country. Therefore, the road of development is both a question of economic modernization and an issue of value orientation, even more so.
