海棠不同品种果实观赏性状分析

Fruit characteristics of different ornamental crabapple varieties

为了选育秋冬季观果海棠新品种,对引进的17个海棠品种和3个传统海棠品种果实的果形、单果重、大小等外观形态指标,以及宿果期、果实硬度进行了测定,结果表明:不同品种间果实各指标差异均显著,并根据宿果期长短和果实硬度等外观观赏品质指标初步评价出4个果实综合观赏性状好的海棠品种,‘唐纳德·怀曼’、‘红宝石’、‘糖美林’和‘亚当斯’,其果实为红色,圆形或椭圆形,单果重较小,宿存期均大于165d,经冬不落,且硬度较大,15kg压力下插入深度小于1mm。

Fruits of 17 varieties of ornamental crabapple introduced from abroad and 3native varieties were analyzed on shape,weight,diameter,fruit retention period and firmness to find new varieties of ornamental fruit plants used in autumn and winter.Results showed that there were significant differences in fruit characters among the varieties.According to fruit retention period,fruit color and ornamental quality,‘Donald Wyman＇,‘Red Jewel＇,‘Sugar Tyme＇and‘Adams＇ were selected.Fruits of the four varieties usually cling to the trees until spring with fruit retention period 〉165d,higher firmness and insertion depth1mm under 15 kg pressure.In addition,these four varieties were red in peel color,round or oval in fruit shape,and light in single fruit weight.
