Current supply and demand situation of PVC resins in China was analyzed in aspects of production capacity, output, import ＆ export amount and market. The development situation and trend of PVC industry in China were discussed in aspects of process routes and product brands. It was regarded that PVC resins produced from coal-based and oil-based ethylene would coexist in China in the future; China＇s PVC industry should implement strategies of product differentiation and diversification, shift the focus of development and application to high-end PVC resins and special PVC resins, and exploit new fields of application.
