The CPLD application technology is a strong practical course. To improve the student practical ability of electronic design, the project teaching method is introduced into teaching. The practical process of project teaching method in the course includes the determination of the task of course project, the division of work group, the formulation of project plan execution, as well as peer evaluation of team members about the project results and the teacher＇s quality evaluation. The application of project teaching method is to make students truly master the learned knowledge and practical skills, and improve each student＇s innovative ability and comprehensive quality.
