On July 4, at the 39th session of the World Heritage Committee held in Bonn, Germany, the Laosicheng Tusi Site in Youngshun county, Hunan province, the Hailongtun Tusi Site in Zunyi, Guizhou province, and the Tangyacheng Site in Xianfeng county in Hubei province were jointly added to the World Heritage List and became China's 48th World Heritage site. The three sites were legacies from the heyday of the Tusi system.
