摘要
在大数据时代背景下,数据无所不在,教育领域也不例外,许多过去难以捕捉、量化的教育教学信息都转化为数据进行存储和处理。新时代伊始,能否挖掘和利用隐藏于教育教学数据内部尚未被发掘的价值,实现在开放教育乃至成人教育等领域的革新,取决于教育教学工作者对大数据及其潜在价值功能的认识、态度和数据挖掘水平。本文阐述了大数据思维的内涵、特征及重要性,梳理了开放教育领域教育教学数据应用现状,最后谈谈大数据思维对开放教育数据挖掘带来的若干启发。
In the new era, the data, especially big data, is ubiquitous, and the educational fi eld is no exception. Much education teaching information, which used to be diffi cult to capture and quantify, can be transformed into data ready to be stored and processed now. At the beginning of the new era, it is important to exploit the education data to the fullest, serving the cause of innovating the open education and adult education. Thus educational practitioners are required to raise their awareness, have better understanding of and make better use of data. This paper expounds the implication and importance of data-based thinking. And viewing the current status, the paper discusses this thinking's inspiration to the data mining in open education.
