摘要
本文追溯二语语用测试在近30年的发展。首先阐述测试设计的理论基础,然后依据理论框架对实验研究进行分类综述。分析发现,中介语语用能力测试研究中存在的主要问题在于理论基础、语用能力构念的代表性和测试任务的真实性等方面;近期的迫切任务是拓展理论基础,完善中介语语用能力构念,加强测量工具的开发,特别是中介语语用理解能力测试、课堂环境中语用能力的测试与评估以及中介语语用能力测试中计算机网络技术的应用。
On the basis of a comprehensive review of testing of second language( L2) pragmatics( TSLP) in the pastthree decades,this paper attempts to lay a theoretical foundation for developing TSLP,on which the various related researches are reviewed. Following this is a discussion about several central issues which feature much of the literature, namely dimensionality of theoretical foundation, representativeness of construct of L2 pragmatic competence and authenticity of testing tasks. The paper finishes with some suggestions for future TSLP research, including the imminent need for expansion of theoretical spectra, rationalization of construct of L2 pragmatic competence, exploitation of testing methods of pragmatic comprehension and classroom-based pragmatic assessment, and application of computer- and internet-based pragmatic testing.
