摘要
批判性话语分析(CDA)主要揭示了语言使用,意识形态和权力之间的关系。它是分析政治语篇,新闻报道等的常用分析框架。而多模态批判性话语分析是在传统批判性话语分析的基础上,拓宽了语篇分析的概念,不仅关注文字传达的信息,更关注图片,声音以及视频影像资料中传达的含义。基于批判性话语分析理论,从图片语义角度出发,以《经济学人》杂志中两幅封面图像为研究对象,力求通过对图片的分析,探究出作者没有直接说明的观点和想法。在深入理解图像的基础上,使读者更深入的理解文章。
Critical Discourse Analysis（ CDA）,bringing insight into the relations between language use,ideology and power,is a typical tool of the analysis of political discourse and news discourse. Based on the traditional CDA,Multimodal CDA not only paid attention to messages literal words convey,but also focused on the pictures,voice,video,etc. Taking the CDA as the guiding theory,this paper focuses on the semantics of two cover images of the Economist,hoping that the hidden opinions and thoughts of the author will be discovered. Besides,it will be more easily for readers to have a deeper understanding of the articles if the correspondent images are comprehensively interpreted.
