摘要
新闻标题被称为新闻语篇的次语类,能集中反映新闻语篇的显著特征及所在媒体的意识形态和思想政治意图。本研究以《人民日报》要闻版灾难新闻报道的标题为考察对象,在语言评价理论框架下,统计并分析态度、介入和级差三大系统及其子系统的评价资源在语料中的分布和使用频率。研究表明,新闻工作者通过在标题中对评价资源的策略运用,能有效传达灾难新闻信息,体现出以人为本、注重人文关怀的核心价值观。
As the sub-genre of news discourse, news headlines embody its outstanding features and the ideological and political intentions of the news agent. Within the framework of Appraisal Theory, this study counts and analyzes the distribution and frequency of appraisal resources(including the systems of attitude, engagement and graduation and their sub-systems) in disaster news headlines in the front pages of People's Daily. The study suggests that the strategic employment of appraisal resources in news headlines enables journalists to effectively convey disaster news, which reflects the core values of humanity-orientation and humanistic concern.
