摘要
液固平衡相图的测定是物理化学实验课程中的重要组成部分。针对固态有限互溶的铅-锡合金体系,用扫描电子显微镜(SEM)观察了不同组成的合金样品,获得了端部固溶体、共晶体、亚共晶体和过共晶体等代表性样品的微观形貌和各相区元素组成。SEM实验结果清晰准确,与相平衡理论和热分析实验结果有很好的对应性,加深了学生对于相图的理解。此外,将现代化大型精密仪器扫描电子显微镜的实验技术巧妙而全面地融入传统物理化学实验项目中,对基础化学实验教学的改革进行了有益的探索。
Measurement of solid-liquid equilibrium phase diagrams is the important part in the experi- mental physical chemistry curricula. Scanning electron microscope (SEM) is used to observe the Pb- Sn alloys with different compositions, in which the components have limited solid solubility. The micro -morphologies of the typical samples are obtained, e. g. terminal solid solution, eutectic alloy, hypo- eutectic alloy and hypereutectic alloy, as well as the element dispersions of the micro-constituents in various phase regions. The results of the SEM experiment are clear and precise, which are correspond- ing to the theory of phase equilibrium and the experiment of thermal analysis. It helps the students to develop insights into the phase diagrams . Furthermore, the modem lab techniques of precision instm- ment SEM are integrated into the traditional physical chemistry experiment ingeniously and thoroughly. This research is a beneficial exploration on the reform of fundamental chemistry experiment course.
