Enlightenment from curriculum reform for citizenship education in England

摘要随着国际化竞争日趋激烈,各国对本国公民素质要求越来越高,因此实施公民教育,培养品格完善的公民成为当代教育的基本主题之一。英国政府从2001年开始将公民教育课程纳入到国家课程中,随后十年,全国教育研究基金会针对其实施情况开展调查研究。基于以上研究,新课程标准对公民教育课程内容做出了相应的调整,主要表现为注重民主观念、强调批判思维、重视理财能力三方面特点。这些都可为我国公民教育课程的改革提供一些借鉴。 With the drastic competition all over the world, every country has more and more high quality requirement for its citizens.Thus, carrying out citizenship education to educate perfect character citizens has been one of the most basic themes of the contemporary education.In 2001, the UK government brought citizenship education into national curriculum.During the ten years, ＂National Foundation for Education Research＂ do some research about it＇s implementation. Given these research, new citizenship education curriculum has been made some changes about it＇s content, such as： pay attention to democratic idea; emphasize critical thinking; attach importance to financial ability.All of these can be a reference to the curriculum reform of citizenship education in China.
