Based on the review of related literature, this article summarized the research progress of the active ingredients of acetylcholinesterase inhibitors from botanical drugs, medicinal animals, Fungus medicine and the screening methods in recent years, in order to develop new ideas of anti-Alzheimer＇ s research on the basis of Chinese herbs.
