Classical Political Philosophy vs. Contemporary Political Philosophy

施特劳斯讲的政治哲学与罗尔斯讲的政治哲学是两种不同的政治哲学,就政治哲学在我国的建构而言,我们应追随罗尔斯而不应追随施特劳斯;追随罗尔斯只是就其讲的政治哲学的问题框架而言,而不是就其对问题本身的回答而言;对于政治哲学所涉及的问题,我们应从当今中国社会面临的重大现实问题的特殊性出发,给出我们基于理性的创新性的回答。

Leo Strauss and John Rawls have preached two different political philosophies. To construct political philosophy in China, we should follow Rawls rather than Strauss. Following Rawls is to follow his framework for research questions, but not his answers to the questions. For the questions involved in political philosophy, we should begin the study by identifying the particularity of the major practical issues that China faces today, and give the creative answers based on reason.
