英译本《太阳照在桑干河上》中的标语翻译评析

Slogan Translation in English Version The Sun Shines over the Sanggan River

分析了大量具有中国特色的政治性标语的内涵及特点,并以1984年英译本《太阳照在桑干河上》为例,阐述了以意译为主、直译为辅的翻译方式,分析译者对大部分标语进行的再塑造,从而减少了中英文化差异给读者带来的阅读障碍。

The connotation and features of a large number of political slogans with Chinese characteristics were analyzed.Taking the English version of The Sun Shines over the Sanggan River published in 1984 as an example,the translation method of taking liberal translation as the core method and literal translation as the complementary was expounded.Most of the slogans were retranslated,thereby reducing readers＇ dyslexia bought by Sino-British cultural differences.
