Aesehylus's “Prometheus Bound” is one of the Greek tragedies, whose main part is the most noble with the most majestic style. It shapes the image of Prometheus as representation of the awareness of the early human self-con- sciousness. Prometheus, as a man of glory, is highly praised by the posterity and also as an image of a man not only highlights the image of rebellion, but also reflects the lofty status of human being. The rebellion is closely related to the development of social civilization, originated from man's deep thinking about the relationship between society and mankind, and mirrored the fights between mankind and their fate, society and themselves.
