On Predicament and Strategy Research of Indonesian Anti-terrorism in the New Period

近十年来,印度尼西亚不断加大警察执法和军事打击本国恐怖主义的力度,一些大的恐怖组织被瓦解,近五年没有出现大规模伤亡的恐怖事件,但是随着中东"伊斯兰国"运动的兴起,在互联网社交媒体的支持下,激进思想、言论和恐怖主义行为有卷土重来之势;印度尼西亚还面临着在押极端分子的大量释放、针对警察复仇恐怖活动的威胁;印度尼西亚政府采取了对非暴力恐怖的极端主义舆论加强管控、进一步加强国际反恐合作、提供政治不满因素的政治解决渠道、加强重点人员监控等综合措施把反恐斗争引向深入。

In the last decade, Indonesia intensified the law enforcement as well as military efforts to crack down on domestic terrorism. As a result, some of the biggest terrorist organizations disintegrated, and there have been no massive terrorist attacks during the past five years in Indonesia. However, with the rise of the Middle East ＂Islamic State＂ movement, together with the support of Internet social media, radical thoughts, views and terrorist acts begin to bounce back. Indonesia also faces terrorist threat from a large number of releasing extremists in custody who are very likely taking revenge against the police. For that reason, the Indonesian government takes the following comprehensive measures to deepen its anti-terrorism war： strengthen management and control on non-violent terrorist extremism public opinion, further enhance international cooperation against terrorism, provide official settlement channels for those politically discontent, and strengthen the monitoring on terrorism susoects.
