On Philosophy of Technology and Its Taoist Spiritual Purport in Huainanzi

对"技术"在人类存在中的作用及影响,《淮南子》认识深刻,并基于道家立场,形成独到丰富的技术哲学思想。《淮南子》从"道""技"关系、"技""器"关系、"人""技"关系,以及"技""德"关系等方面着眼,深入探讨"技术"的本质内涵及其与人类存在之间的复杂关系,试图在以"道"驭"技"、"人""技"合一中,消解技术对人性的工具化遮蔽,使之成为人类生命审美存在的有利条件。《淮南子》不仅承续先秦老庄的技术思想,而且在汉代"黄老"影响下,对其进一步深化发展,赋予技术更多的现实意义。《淮南子》技术哲学是汉代技术思想的重要组成,也是中国古代技术思想史的重要的历史环节。

Huainanzi holds that technology plays a crucial role in human existence. Based on the Taoism, it forms an unique and rich philosophy of technology. From the perspectives of the relationship between technology and Taoism, tools, people and morals, Huainanzi discusses the essential con- notation of technology and its complex relationship with human beings. It emphasizes that technology ensures the favorable conditions for the aesthetic existence of human life. Under the influence of Zhuangzi and Huang Lao theories, Huainanzi further deepens the development of technological theories, which has more realistic meaning. The philosophy of technology in ttuainanzi is an important part of the technological thought in Han dynasty, and is a crucial historical link in ancient Chinese history of technology.
