摘要
英语高考改革的帷幕已经拉开,这幕大戏注定将对现行的英语教育产生重大影响,各方人士都在论证这一新命题,支持也好,担忧也罢,最终大家都希望中国的英语教育走上科学的道路,中国人的英语不再是"纸上谈兵",中国的英语教学不再功利主义。面对这样的形势,笔者作为一位教学前沿的英语教师,通过理性的分析和大胆的设想,也做出了自己的思考,提出了具体的建议和期望。本文就是旨在表达一位英语教育实际操作者的具体想法和期待,也许它代表着很多一线教师的心声。
National Matriculation English Test （NMET） reform is undergoing, which is sure to impose great influence on Eng- lish education. People from all walks of life express their concerns and opinions about it. All the people expect English education in China will get rid of the reputation of being over test-oriented instead of being functional and culture-oriented. As an English teacher working in classroom for many years, I also have my own thinking. The article aims to reveal English teachers＇ expectation and suggestions in the context of NMET reform.
