当前,我国各高校纷纷进行英语教学改革,但其改革效果如何,往往与英语教师的教学质量有关。本文将从分析我国英语教师职业发展现状及其存在问题入手,进一步探讨了导致发展上存在困境的原因,最后提出积极推进英语教师职业发展的有效性措施,为保证在今后的英语教师职业在发展上得到更大的发展空间。

At present, our country＇s college English teaching reforms are carried out in succession, but its reform effect oftenassociated with the teaching quality of English teachers. This article will analyse the English teachers＇ professional developmentin our country and the status quo and problems, then it further discusses the causes of the existing development predicament.Finally, it puts forward the measures of promoting the effectiveness of the English teachers＇ professional development to ensurethat English teachers＇ get a larger space in their professional development.
