In this paper,it focuses on the corrected using of P-N gear and the working principle were highlighted.The corrected method of operation was given according to the operating errors.It is useful for fully showing the automatic transmission function and extending its life. In addition, the common malfunction of P-N gear,the methods of diagnosing and solving of the malfunction were also discussed.
