The paper introduced the composition,working principle and technical characteristics of the new type endless rope continuous tractor. Based on the technical parameters of underground auxiliary traffic volume,the length and angle of transportation line and the convenience of daily maintenance,the endless rope continuous tractor was determined for underground auxiliary traffic in Shanyang Mine.
