摘要
以情境性、沉浸性、参与性为主要特征的三维虚拟学习环境能够极大地激发学习者的学习动机,正在成为重要的学习环境。该文在大量前期成果的基础上,给出了三维虚拟学习环境的定义,论述了其特点和对学习的支撑作用;综述了其存在的技术背景;阐述了以社交媒体理论、沉浸理论、情境认知理论等为代表的基础理论;描述了其在虚拟实验、语言学习、情境创设等方面的应用情况;最后提出了几个可能的研究方向。
3D Virtual Learning Environment(3DVLE) which is characterized by situation, flow and participation can arouse learners' motivation greatly. It is becoming an important learning environment. Based on lots of research results, this article has defined the term of 3DVLE and discussed its features and supporting for learning. In addition, the technology background of 3DVLE has been summarized. The basis theories have been expounded, such as Social Media Theory, Flow Theory and Situated Cognition Theory. Subsequently, the applications of 3DVLE have been described. The work ends with proposing some possible research directions.
