我国近代高等教育发展模式,经历了清末传统书院向近代新式学堂的教育组织转型、近代新式学堂向近代大学的教育制度转型,以及近代大学由人才培养向社会服务的教育职能转型。其自觉探索之路在于:高等教育的转型加速了我国高等教育体制的变革,促使了高等教育的全面革新,推动了高等教育的国际化发展。
