A Study of Compensation to Soldiers of the Gansu Province in Qianlong Period

无论何时,因贫穷、被灾、兵兴都会影响到兵丁的生活口粮、马匹与草料、行装、军械等项的正常保障。为此,乾隆政府通融实施出借帑项、调整定例、蒙恩加赏、被灾抚恤,以及对出借应扣之项予以宽展、豁免等举措舒缓兵艰,大大提升了兵丁作战能力,为多次用兵发挥了卓著军功。期冀以此推进恤兵研究的前行,丰富清代蠲恤与军政制度的内涵。

Because of the poverty or the disaster or the battle, life ration, horses and fodder, luggage and ordnance of the soldiers would be affected no matter when they were normal security. Therefore, the Qianlong government implemented some ways to relieve soldiers storm, for example, lending Treasury items, adjusting the statute, bestowing a reward, compensation because of disaster and the item of lending being spread or exempt and so on. The action greatly enhanced the combat capability of the soldiers and played a distinguished military as many military forces. The article hopes to can push forward the research on compensation to soldiers and enrich the compensation and connotation of the military system in the Qing Dynasty
