加快民族地区小康社会建设的挑战、问题及对策(上)

CHALLENGES OF BUILDING A WELL- OFF SOCIETY IN ETHNIC MINORITY AREAS IN CHINA: PROGRESS,PROBLEMS AND COUNTERMEASUERS( PART Ⅰ)

到2020年中国要实现全面建成小康社会的奋斗目标,现在时间越来越短,但任务却依然十分艰巨。本报告立足目前的指标体系和相关调查,对民族地区小康社会建设进程进行了评估,指出了取得的进展和存在的主要问题,提出了促进民族地区小康社会建设的思路与若干政策建议。文章认为,只要适当调整小康社会评价指标体系,切实采取有力举措加快少数民族和民族地区发展,民族地区实现全面建成小康社会的目标还是可期的。

Although the time left for China to build an all - around well - off society by 2020 is closer, the task remains tremendous difficulties. The building of a well - off society in ethnic minority areas plays a strategic role in fulfilling the above -mentioned task. Based on the present indicator system and related in- vestigations, the report assesses the process of building a well - off society in ethnic minority areas. It points out the progresses and problems, and suggests some ideas and policy recommendations of promoting the process. The report concludes that the task of building an all - around well - off society in ethnic minority areas is expectable only if the indicator system is appropriately adjusted and forceful measures are taken to speed up the development in ethnic minority areas.
