The open teaching mode highlights the students＇ subjectivity, and carries out the teaching with the core of student autonomous exploration for knowledge. It is a kind of most attractive teaching idea to drive students＇ learning enthusiasm. By analyzing the necessity of implementing open English teaching mode in higher vocational colleges, the paper proposes concrete implementation ways to apply the teaching mode in higher vocational English teaching, thus higher vocational English teaching is optimized and improved,and it enters into a new situation.
