Implied author is text as the “second self” of the rather conservative, biased and and the people＇s emotional state one of the most important concepts in Western Narratives. It exists impliedly in the author. In F Scott Fitzgerald＇s Great Gatsby, the female view of the implied author is even demonized. In some extent, this reflected the social and economic background of the American society in the 20s of the 20th century.
