摘要
骨膜蛋白,一种细胞外基质蛋白,属于成束蛋白家族,已经被报道在组织器官发育或修复的重构过程中起重要作用,慢性呼吸道炎症和气道重构是支气管哮喘的显著特征。研究发现,骨膜蛋白是白细胞介素(IL)4和IL-13的下游蛋白,IL-4和IL-13是Th2型免疫反应的特征细胞因子,骨膜蛋白是支气管哮喘的上皮下纤维化的组成部分,在过敏性哮喘的激活和维持阶段起重要作用。
Periostin, an extraeellular matrix protein belonging to the fasciclin family,has been reported to play a critical role in the process of remodeling during tissue and organ development or repair. Chronic airway inflammation and airway remodeling is the typical feature of bronchial asthma. Studies found that periostin is a downstream molecule of interleukin IL-4 and IL-13, signature cytokines of Th2 immune responses, a compo- nent of subepithelial fibrosis in bronchial asthma,playing a critical role in the activation and maintenance of allergic asthma.
