摘要
长期以来,基础外语教育的育人功能仅局限于知识论视域之内,而忽视了背后隐藏着的文化批判与价值观塑造功能。在全球化语境下,注重文化教学与交际能力培养的外语教育不可避免地渗透着价值观传播,这也对语言教学的价值中立观点提出了挑战。西方的价值观还通过网络媒体、国际交流、文化商品输出等渠道对中学师生进行渗透,导致他们难以客观公正地审视东西方文化及价值观的差异性。笔者认为,在外语文化教学中,教师必须主动提升学生的价值观评价能力和文化批判意识,在增强跨文化交际能力培养的同时肩负起价值观德育建设和中外文化平等交流的任务。
The educational functions of foreign language education are limited to the realm of epistemology while the functions of culture-criticizing and value-fostering are ignored. Under the global context, values' propagation is evitable and also a challenge to the view of language teaching values neutrality during culture teaching and communicative ability fostering, The western values are penetrating towards middle school students and teachers through network media, international communication, culture commodity exporting etc. As a result, teachers may find it hard to review the values differences between the East and the West. For this reason, teachers should actively upgrade students' ability to evaluate values and awareness of culture criticism. During this time, teachers also should shoulder the task of fostering moral values and equal communication of Chinese and foreign cultures.
