新浦镇位于慈溪市中北部,背靠杭州湾新区,镇区西部有宁波杭州湾跨海大桥慈溪主出入口。从地图上看,慈溪像扇海贝,新浦就是镶嵌在这贝壳上的一颗明珠。数百年来,新浦儿女搏风雨、斗海浪、围石堤、筑海塘,捍海御潮,创造了灿烂的新浦文化和新浦精神。“八月十五中秋夜,观潮何必去海宁”。
Xinpu Township is located in mid-north of Cixi, adjacent to Hangzhou Bay New Zone.For thousands of years, people from Xinpu have been taking advantage of marine resources, including sea salt and seafood.
