Problems and Countermeasures on Construction of Characteristic Small Town of Guilin

加快特色小城镇建设是桂林市实施城镇化和城乡一体化发展的重要战略,但是,规划水平低、产业基础薄弱、资金短缺,筹措渠道单一等问题却制约了特色小城镇的建设和发展。进一步加大工作力度,做好修编小城镇建设与发展规划、加快小城镇区划调整、做好小城镇特色产业培育、加强配套政策的制订和落实等工作将对桂林市特色小城镇的建设起到强有力的推动作用。

It is an important strategy to accelerate the construction of characteristic small town for Guilin＇s urbanization and urban-rural integration. However, the construction and development of characteristic small town is constrained by problems like low level planning, weak industrial base, capital shortage, and single financing channel. It will play strong roles in driving the construction of characteristic small town of Guilin to further step up efforts, perfect the development program, accelerate the administrative division adjusting, cultivate characteristic industries, and strengthen the formulation and implementation of supporting policies.
