摘要
人文学科之最大悲哀是:专业学科越分越细,却与研究者自身和他人生活不相干,只成了理论体系之搭建或学术行话之生产。美学思考要免于此虞,成为切身学问,便须谨记其感性学根基,更须谨记:无论作为思考者还是思考对象,具体的人先于抽象的人;哲学难题都先于哲学问题,哲学问题都先于哲学课题。颠倒此次第,人文学科及研究者自身之异化,便无可避免。现代学术机制下,这一危险尤其巨大。
For the humanities, the deepest failure is that the more professional a subject becomes, the more irrelevant it is to the real life of the researchers or any one else. Only a theoretical system and an academic jargon remain. If aesthetics is to regain its status as a humanist discipline, we must always remind ourselves that the foundation of aesthetics is aesthetic expe- rience, that a blood-and -flesh person takes precedence over an abstract subject for both the researcher and the object of re- search and that a philosophical problem is prior to a philosophical question and the philosophical question prior to the philo- sophical subject. If this sequence is reversed, the humanities and the researcher will inevitably be alienated. In the modern academic system, there is no greater risk than this.
