《辽史》中的"斡鲁朵"(Ordo),在汉文献中历经演变,后用作内蒙古所属的市名,谓之"鄂尔多斯"〔Ordos〕(原伊克昭盟)。"Ordos"(鄂尔多斯)为"Ordo"(汉译为"斡耳朵")的复数形式。
in the Chinese document, Liaoshi＇s ordo goes through the development, used for Inner Mongolia＇s city name, after calling ＂ordos＂ （the former YiKeZhao League）. ＂Ordos＂ as ＂ordo＂（the Chinese translation for ＂woerduo＂） the plural form.
