摘要
格赖斯合作原则的建构和研究属于理论探讨;许多学者已经指出了这个原则的一些缺陷,并尝试加以修正。本文认为,对这个原则的研究可以涉及外语教学实践。其实,合作原则也可以为外语教学中的课堂会话所借鉴,但是对会话实践多样性和丰富性的描述应当充分考虑会话的"交锋层面"。本文将阐述经交锋原则融合后的合作原则。
H.E Grice's cooperative principle was proposed in the context of theoretical investigation, and a great many scholars have pointed out some defects in this cooperative principle with various attempts at its revisions. This paper will look at this principle in the context of the teaching of foreign languages. The author argues that the principle can also be applied to the actual teaching of foreign languages, though the "combative aspects" of conversation is required to give an adequate account of the diversity of conversational practices. The main focus of this study will be on the cooperative principle that has integrated into itself the combative principle.
