Pro/E-based secondary development for forging blank calculation

以Pro/E软件为平台,利用提供的Pro/Toolkit组件,开发了长轴类锻件的截面积自动计算及输出程序,结合EXCEL VBA环境,编制了截面数据处理及计算毛坯图绘制的程序。应用实例表明,该方法能够减少技术人员重复劳动,提高锻件工艺设计效率。

Based on the Pro/E software, the component Pro/Toolkit was utilized to develop the auto-calculating and output program of cross-sectional areas for long-shaft forging. Com- bined with the environment of EXCEL VBA, the program of processing cross-sectional ar- eas and plotting the blank calculation drawing was compiled. The instance of engineering application proved the solution can reduce rehandling of technicians and raise the efficien- cy of designing forging process.
