The basis structure of circulating fluidized bed boiler was described. Failures often occurred during routine operation were discussed, such as burst of high temperature superheater, leakage on water cooling wall, coking on hearth bed, and second combustion in the gas flue at the rear. The precaution measures were presented to assure safe and steady operation.
