社会需要的高技能职业型人才除了应该具备丰厚的专业知识外,对英语口语和书面英语的需要也日益增多。就读于应用型大学英语专业的学生未来就业面广泛,经常会在涉外工作中需要英汉互译能力的运用,其中进行交流的重要手段是翻译,因此,培养翻译能力在英语专业教学中尤为重要。本文分析以应用型大学为背景的翻译课程教学中存在的主要问题,旨在突显英语专业翻译课程教学的重要性,从而改善教学效果,促进学生的英语应用能力与职业综合素质不断提高。

High - skilled professional knowledge, their spoken and written English personnel are needed by the society. In addition to their ncia professional English is also increasingly needed. Students enrolled in Applied University major have a wide employment range. They often need to use English - Chinese translation skills in foreign affairs,where translation is an important means of communication. Therefore, the cultivation of translation compe- tence in English teaching is particularly important. This paper analyzes the main problems in the teaching of transla- tion course based on the application - oriented university ,which aims to highlight the importance of English Majors＇ translation teaching, so as to improve the professional quality. teaching effect and promote the students＇ ability of English application and professional quality.
