《中国日报》社论鉴赏系统及其评价机制研究

On the Appreciation System and Evaluation of Editorials in China Daily

以马丁等人的语言评价理论为框架,对15篇《中国日报》社论语料观察与分析,探讨《中国日报》社论中的鉴赏种类、实现方式,分析"鉴赏"评价资源在英语社论语篇中的总体分布模式,以及社论引言、背景介绍、论证、结论各部分中鉴赏资源的篇章分布模式。结果表明,鉴赏性评价集中于新闻事件或人物的"品质"和"影响",且鉴赏资源在社论论证部分,"价值"鉴赏资源在社论"结论"部分分布相对集中。语义评价主要围绕词汇系统来揭示或引唤针对新闻事件及其价值的各种鉴赏意识,且表述形式丰富多样。

In this work, the authors used Martin＇s appreciation system of language as theoretical base, observed and analyzed fifteen editorials in China Daily. The focus is on types of appreciation, ways of realization, general distribution of evaluation resources of appreciation in the editorials and the distribution pattern in the different parts of them, and the distribution of evaluation resources in introduction, background information, argumentation and conclusion. It is concluded that appreciation evaluation is densely distributed in the quality and influence of the events and characters of the news and the appreciation resources in the part of argumentation. Moreover, the appreciation resources of value concentrate in the part of conclusion. Appreciation of semantics is achieved by diction to reveal and evoke the appreciation awareness of news events and their values with varied approaches of conveyance.
