We present a new approach to embed a digital signature into an image based on the fractal compress transformations for the purpose of protecting the ownership of the images. The signature is retrievable only by the means of protected information. Our studies have shown that such a signature is difficult to detect and unchangeable without the appropriate user cryptogram.
