人格独立、追求真理、捍卫道统、不畏权贵、学必济世,是我国古代"士"的精神,民国高校校长因继承发扬了古代"士"的精神,为我国高教发展做出了不朽的贡献。当前我国高校校长应当继续传承、发扬古代"士"的精神。
The spirit of Confucian scholars means personal independence,the pursuit of truth,defending the orthodoxy,not afraid of power and assisting the world with knowledge.Presidents of universities in the Republic of China inherited and carried forward the spirit and then made immortal contributions to our higher education development.Current presidents of universities should continue to inherit and carry forward the spirit of Confucian scholars.
