摘要 双语教学是高校学科课程教学改革的一项重要措施,是我国大学专业教育走向世界的重要途径。根据多年来化工热力学双语教学的实践和经验,本文探讨了双语教学的意义和目标,研究了双语教学中教材、单位制、专业术语词汇、学科知识疑难点等问题的解决方法,以及课堂施教和学生课堂学习互动的方法,还探索了学科专业知识教学和语言教学之间的关系、考核方法的改进措施、课外施教手段、计算机和互联网技术在双语教学中的应用,讨论了进一步改进双语教学的策略。实践表明,双语教学是培养具备使用两种语言进行专业技术交流沟通能力的复合型人才的切实可行的途径。 Bilingual teaching is an important measure in reform of course system in higher education and is the important way for making national university education more competitive in the world. Based on the teaching practice and experience of bilingual teaching in chemical engineering thermodynamics during past years, the significances and objectives of bilingual teaching are discussed. Structure of textbook in bilin gual teaching, unit system, terms and glossary in the specialized field, focuses and difficulties in the dis cipline, etc. are studied and methods of passing discipline knowledge to students and interactive in teach ng and learning in classroom are explored. The relationship between discipline knowledge teaching and English language teaching, evaluation system, media for extracurricular teaching and learning, and appiication of computer and Internet technology to the bilingual teaching are studied and attempted. Strategies and methods for improving the bilingual teaching are discussed. The practice demonstrates that the bilingual teaching is a feasible and realistic way for training inter-disciplinary talent professionals, who are able to use two languages in technical communications.
