The world-class universities in America emphasize the improvement of postgraduate＇ s innovative and practical a- bility and accumulate rich experience and practical measures, such as equal emphasis on basic and interdisciplinary cour- ses, the integration of teaching activities and scientific research, the cultivation of professional interest and exploring spirit and the cooperation of universities and enterprises. According to those measures and the deficiency of our universities, it is necessary for us to strengthen the basic courses and add interdisciplinary courses, to change teaching methods and empha- size innovation, to change educational ideas and create innovative atmosphere and to enhance the cooperation of universities and companies and improve the practical ability.
