建交与护侨:中泰就1945年“耀华力路事件”的交涉

Establishing Diplomatic Relations and Protecting Overseas Chinese:The Negotiations on Yaowarrat Incident between China and Thailand in 1945

二战胜利初期,泰国首都曼谷华侨居住区耀华力路发生泰国军警和华侨之间冲突的事件,被称为"耀华力路事件"。面对来自中国国内的抗议和泰国华社的护侨请求,作为五大国战胜国之一的中国国民政府积极就该事件展开交涉。鉴于中泰没有建立正式外交关系,国民政府以该事件为契机,采取先建交后护侨的策略。经中国政府的积极努力,双方正式建立外交关系,但因双重国籍问题的存在导致国民政府在泰国的护侨成效不彰。

The conflicts between the Thailand police and Thailand overseas Chinese took place in the Yaowarat Road of Bangkok after the end of World War Ⅱ, which is called Yaowarat Incident. The government of China has actively carried out negotiations with the Thailand government at the request of the Overseas Chinese in Thailand and the people in China, In view of China and Thailand have no formal diplomatic relations, the Chinese government took an opportunity to establish diplomatic relations, and then negotiation with Thailand on protecting the Overseas Chinese. Through the positive efforts of the Chinese government, diplomatic relations were established but had not well effect on protecting fight of the Overseas Chinese because of the dual nationality problems.
