Organic electronics is a fast-moving and inter- disciplinary research field beyond organic chemistry. In this area, two major research objects are organic semiconductors and their film devices. Device struc- tures are generally categorized into two types of archi- tecture; one is two-terminal devices such as diodes, and the other is three-terminal devices, such as transistors.
